Carolyn serves as the vice president of Strategy and Communications for Minnesota Philanthropy Partners. In her role, she collaborates with the board, executive leadership team and staff members to tightly align the Foundations’ core values, goals and strategies in fulfilling the missions of the Foundations. She also oversees MN Partners' Marketing and Communications, Human Resources and Information Technology departments.

A long-time resident of both Minnesota and Wisconsin, Carolyn brings an expertise in strategy and leadership from her previous roles at 3M, CaringBridge and the Science Museum of Minnesota.

Carolyn has a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Master of Arts in philanthropy and development from Saint Mary’s University in Winona.

Carolyn is a trustee at her church, president-elect of AFP-Minnesota and will join soon the board of a local youth symphony.

Outside of work, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her husband of 27 years and has two adult children staying active with running, barre classes, golf and settling in to her new “empty-nester” home.
