Michael Ott
"Service, and enabling the service of others, is a wonderful part of what community foundations add to the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota consortium. As a member of Minnesota Philanthropy Partners's board of directors, and as a U.S. Bank employee, it is my privilege to help steer our engagement and foster vibrant communities throughout the state."

Mike Ott is the president of The Private Client Reserve at U.S. Bank. As the leader of The Reserve, Mike is responsible for the success of teams in 38 offices across the country, as well as the clients they serve. Mike sets the strategy and vision for The Reserve and is responsible for developing business in key areas, including Investment Management, Private Banking, Wealth Planning and Trust and Estate Services.

Mike joined U.S. Bank in 2009 as head of investments for The Reserve in the Twin Cities. He was named Twin Cities Market Leader for The Reserve in 2010, appointed Central Region President in 2011 and President in 2013. Prior, his career spanned many leadership roles in several private asset management and institutional equity companies.

Mike retired as a Colonel from the U.S. Air Force Reserve in 2015, but he still brings a disciplined philosophy to work with him every day, and he encourages others to do the same.

Mike is the Co-Executive Sponsor of the Proud to Serve Committee, a U.S. Bank Business Resource Group dedicated to building connections on behalf of U.S. Bank employees who serve in the U.S. military as guardsmen and reservists. Mike's work in Proud to Serve focuses on hiring and supporting veterans and members of military families throughout their U.S. Bank careers.

Mike graduated with an engineering degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and earned his M.B.A. from Boston College.
