Chris is president and CEO at Securian Financial Group, where he is is responsible for leading all aspects of the business, including strategy development and insurance, investment and retirement business lines. 

Chris was born in Saint Paul, though he lived most of his life outside of Minnesota. With his family’s recent relocation to the Twin Cities, however, Chris is reconnecting with the generous spirit of his birthplace. In addition to supporting Minnesota Philanthropy Partners with his practical business development and management skills, Chris has been an active supporter of the United Ways in Minnesota and Indiana. He also remains active with nonprofit organizations serving central Indiana, where he and his family used to live.

A graduate of Indiana University, Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in finance. He and his wife, Ann, have three children, one in high school and two in college.
